Paris!!

As my first post I wanted to blog about Paris but I never had the time to go on about everything we did there!
27/12/09- We had an afternoon flight so no wake up call needed!I get up quite early anyway so it wasnt to much of a chore. So it took us 2 hours to get to Manchester airport and there was no snow on the roads nor any dramatic weather ahead of us. There was no checkin in qeues (it took me aes to spell that!) and we went strait to shop. Oh and I had done the decision to wear very high heels in an airport, not really a good idea cause of all the standing, the slippy floors and escalators. But anyway, I went to Biza and got my MAC stuff and I went to Claires and nabbed a necklace for a £1 and big sparkly hoops for £8.50 and then we went to our gate and STE FROM HOLLYOAKS WAS THERE :D, he was gorgeous but I was to scared to go up to him, so I just drooled over him from my seat. He got on my flight and everything! Anyway we arrived at Charles De Gaulle, which is massive, and we had to phone the taxi company to pick us up and the lady escorted us and everything felt very posh. We got our luggage, hopped in the taxi and off to Paris we went :) It was amazing going down the Champs Elysees at night time and it was just beautiful. Loves it. Our hotel was gorgeous and we went to the bar and had some entrees, where we met a lovely woman from Atlana and she gave us tips about gettin round Paris and where to go. First day was a success... :)


28/12/09- First day of shopping! Had an early start because I wanted to find a little shop called Free P Star (http://www.freepstar.com/) which is where you can find some amazing things for 10 euros! So we went on the metro for the first time and my mum was like omg I dont know if I'll be able to understand this but I was like we have to get around Paris somehow! So our hotel was just by the eiffel tower so we caught the Bir Hakeim to Charles de Gaulle-Etoile and then from here to Hotel De Ville which was by Rue De Rivoli which is like 'the high street', it has all the little shops. and then things like H&M, Zara and then more high end things. Well I got a LBD for 19 euros, suede boots with a lil' heel for 30 euros from little shops, and then I got a bag from the streets, it kinda reminds of the new chanel cocoon bags. We FINALLY get to the shop and I get a floral dress from 10 euros and a white sparkly jacket for 10 euros. Its amazing there so if you ever get to go there go :)! Afterwards we went to a really cute little patisserie called Boulangerie Patisserie. Once you come out of Free P Star turn to the left and it is literally right in front of you. Get the hot dog with cheese :) yummy

29/12/09- On this day we basically went down the champs elysees and it was beautiful. The shops went from high street to high end. I went to Zara and got some page boy pants and a cute little zara grey tshirt with a bow. Really compfy and can be dressed up and dressed down. We went to Louis Vuitton then and drooled all over the red monogram Vernis bag. gorgeous!

We went to see the Arc Du Triomphe which was HUUUGE!! I didnt think it was that big. So after going round the shops we went backed to the hotel and relaxed.

30/12/09- Today was Notre Dame day, my mum really wanted to go so we did end up going and it was SUPER beautiful. My mum lit a candle and I got a rosary from there. We also got to sit down and pray, and its really emotional there. People crying (okay I admit it was me crying not others haha) and people just in awe. I looked typical tourist going oooh look at that, oooh look at that! If you ever go to Paris and you're around this area I reccommend you go to a little cafe called Cafe Le Soleil D'or. Once you get to the cafe, dont go in, go to the little crepe stand next to it! They do pizza, kebabs and baguettes too :) There is three people who work there a white man, an old women and a black man. They are a true comedy trio! They were french but I could still go along with what they were saying :)True entertainment :)

31/12/09-3/1/10 - Here was when we went to Disney which is always magical (and super cold!). On New years eve we had an amazing meal!It was tres posh and I loved it. The chicken was amazin! Theres nothin much to say about Disney except that it is soo much fun and the new rides are really cool! It doesnt matter how old you are Disney is always super cool :)

My favourite thing in Paris was the Metro! It was typical Parisian style there! The women would be wearing fur jackets and louis vuitton and there then would be a girl in plain clothes. One time we had a man with an accordian and it was so nice to have the full metro experience! :)
